Cower is a bronze sculpture exploring vulnerability, submission and the physical experience of fear. The figure folds inward, caught between kneeling and collapsing, its contorted posture reflecting the body's instinctive response to overwhelming circumstances: to shrink, protect itself and surrender.

The permanence and weight of bronze contrast with the figure's vulnerability, giving physical form to anxieties that might otherwise remain internal. The work emerged from a frustration with inaction and the sense of powerlessness that can accompany witnessing political, environmental and social crises from a distance.
